Yesterday I walked with John Craven.
He ate my sandwiches!

If you get a chance to see Countryfile this Sunday you will see John Craven eating my sandwiches. As the camera crew had left theirs 1000 feet below, out of sympathy I shared mine with John Craven.
We had a great days filming and I am very much looking forward to seeing the finished article.
When I arrived at Lordenshaws Car Park at 9.00am the mist was down, but as we climbed up the weather brightened and the views were spectacular. It was a little windy up on Dove Crag but after lumping camera, tripod, microphone and boom up to the top I suspect it will be as good a piece on Countryfile that they have had for some time.
The director was certainly pleased with what he managed to capture.
They say the proof the pudding is in the eating, so we will all have to watch it to see how it came out.
So on Sunday 22nd sit down in front of your TV at 11.00 am, tune it into BBC1 and see what you think of it.
