The question we get asked again and again are where are the places to eat, toilets, shops, banks and places to visit on Hadrian’s Wall, St Cuthbert’s Way, St Oswald’s Way and the Northumberland Coast Path.
So starting this year we have created detailed route notes that include all this information and we are giving them out to all the walkers who walk any of these long distance trails with Shepherds Walks Holidays.
We have not just listed them in a random list. As we have walked all the trails and speak to every one of our customers face to face at the start and end of their walking holiday we have listed them in order of the feedback you have given us. We hope this local knowledge will help to make a good holiday along Hadrian’s Wall, St Cuthbert’s Way, St Oswald’s Way and the Northumberland Coast Path great.
We have not just listed restaurants on Hadrian’s Wall, St Cuthbert’s Way, St Oswald’s Way and the Northumberland Coast Path but we have listed places you can buy packed lunches, snacks and other treats on route. Therefore you can see exactly what is coming up and therefore you can relax and enjoy your walking holiday with Shepherds Walks Holidays.
Last year we trialled this on St Oswald’s Way and St Cuthbert’s Way and after some great feedback we have created these useful trip notes for all the long distance trails in that we currently deliver walking holidays on.
So if you want more than a basic holiday and want a walking holiday to remember please do take a look at the walking holidays we have on offer.
