St Cuthbert's Way

Opened in 1996 St Cuthbert's Way is a 60-mile walk that has quickly gained a reputation as one of Britain's most enjoyable long-distance walks, following key historical sites that are closely connected with St Cuthbert and his life.

Although waymarked throughout with the St Cuthbert's Cross symbol, a reasonable level of fitness and navigational skill is needed especially in poor weather conditions.

Shepherds Walks Holidays offer quality guided and self-guided trips along St Cuthbert's Way. Hike at your own pace on a self-guided trip or join one of our guided groups. We arrange your accommodation, luggage transfers, route map, guidebooks and all our expertise included.
