Northumberland Coast Path - The Northumberland Coast Path is a breathtaking walking route that stretches for 62 miles (100 km) along one of England’s most unspoiled coastlines.

From sandy beaches and dramatic dunes to ancient castles and charming fishing villages, this iconic path offers a unique blend of natural beauty and rich history, perfect for walkers of all levels.

The route is generally level with very few steep climbs and is clearly signposted from roads and way-marked throughout. Most stiles have been replaced with gates and the walking surfaces are generally good, although some sections of the path can become muddy during wet weather. There are many opportunities to walk on the beach rather than on the way-marked trail if preferred and as it passes through a number of golf courses, watch out for low flying golf balls.
